This is the general flow of what happens for a contribution, as completed by the hypothetical developer X.

X picks something to change (looking at our issues list, or their own set of changes).
X forks the repo
X makes changes in their fork
X submits a pull request
X receives feedback, likely from @shakeelmohamed
@shakeelmohamed merges the pull request
@shakeelmohamed adds X to the contributors group.
