Become a sponsor to SunPy
☀️ SunPy is a community-developed free and open-source software package for solar physics. It aims to be a comprehensive data analysis environment that allows researchers within the field of solar physics to carry out their tasks with minimal effort.
👥 SunPy's community works mainly on the sunpy core python package. However, as a the community and the needs of the researchers grow we also work on other packages that extend the capabilities of the main library providing the software tools necessary so that anyone can analyze the ever-increasing catalog of solar data.
💰 Though the majority of the community are solar physics researchers, most of us invest our time to work in the library as volunteers. Any funds we get are used to improve the community either to pay developers or to organize events.
Thank you for supporting our project! Your sponsorship helps to ensure that our work continues toward our open source mission.
Funds are collected and disbursed via NumFOCUS, a 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States, which acts as the fiscal sponsor for the project.
