Color-Gen is a dynamic web application built with React and utilizes the Vite build tool. The application allows users to generate a custom color palette based on a chosen base color. Users can interact with the application to generate new colors, copy colors to the clipboard, and view various components styled with the generated colors.
- Color Palette Generation: Generate a custom color palette based on a selected base color.
- Color Input: Users can input colors either through a color picker or by typing the hex code directly.
- Clipboard Functionality: Users can copy individual colors or the entire palette code to the clipboard.
- Keyboard Interaction: Pressing the space bar generates a new random color.
- Component Showcase: Various components (SignOut, ForgotPassword, Cookie, Pricing, SwitchNotification, Stats) styled with the generated color.
This project was bootstrapped with Vite. To set up and run this project locally, you'll need to have Node.js and npm installed. Follow these steps:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/nureka-rodrigo/Color-Gen.git - Navigate into the project directory:
cd Color-Gen - Install the dependencies:
npm install - Start the application:
npm run dev
The application will start running on http://localhost:3000.
