Supported search engine results

At the moment, PIA supports the following search engine result files:
- mzIdentML (the standard should support all search results, but please inform us about any errors)
- OpenMS idXML files any files cerated by the search adapters of OpenMS
- X!Tandem XML files (to get all data, these should contain also protein sequence information and allow as many peptides as possible, e.g. setting "output, maximum valid expectation value" and "output, maximum valid protein expectation value" to a high value like 10000)
- Matrix Science's Mascot DAT files (version 2.x at least up to version 2.3, feel free to inform us about other versions)
- Tide TXT files Tide search results in the very simple, tabular TXT format
- Thermo's ProteomeDiscoverer's MSF files (Version 1.3, at the moment recommended for Thermo's SEQUEST searches, please use native Mascot DAT files for Mascot results)
