Hey there!

👨‍💻 About Me :

Geographer 🗺️ and data scientist from Spain 🇪🇸.

  • 💻 Data curator at the University of Seville (Andalusia, Spain) through a contract of Academic Excellence from the Ministry of Universities of the Government of Spain. I am currently involved in several research projects that involve the management of large amounts of datasets in line with the Open Science movement and the FAIR principles.

  • ⚒️ Development and management of relational databases as well as dissemination of scientific information from R&D projects in online databases. Open access map viewer implementation. Metadata generation in the context of the Semantic Web is no less important.

  • ☄️ I have developed a Spatial Data Infrastructure from scratch: PEPAdb (Prehistoric Europe’s Personal Adornment database).

  • 👨‍🏫 I have been teaching for 3 years (2021-2024) at the University of Seville as a lecturer in Computer Applications in Archaeology and Statistics.

  • ⚙️ Worth mentioning, I also worked as a research technician for the European Commission 🇪🇺 (2020-2021).

  • ⚡ In my free time, I have a passion for hiking 🥾 and for listening to rock music 🎶.
