Sorry, I accidentally based this on your tempscale branch. Do you want me to rebase against master, or redirect the PR against tempscale?

BTW: CI failure from the linter can be ignored – it's all just stylistic nuance, and does not even involve any of the files I have changed.

Thanks for the PR! It's a good idea to have the savedmodel stuff in the main branch now. I had the plan to wait for the finished temperature scaling module, but the development there is stalled at the moment.
