Sorry to ask here.

I want to use it on the Dwarf II from DwarLab in equatorial mode

But as the tele lens is not on the rotation's center, does it change anything when taking the second photo after a 90° rotation ?

Or do we need to make some adjustment on the calculation ?

Thanks

Hi, it's not necessary for the lens to point in the direction of the rotation axis. The method should be quite robust, you don't even need an overlap between the two images and don't need exactly 90 degrees of rotation, either. The important thing is that there shouldn't be any movement of the rig other than the rotation around a single axis.

Thanks, so no problem as the lens even is not in the center, turn with the dwarf.I have already tested with the original PhotoPolarAlign photopolar Align and it's working great get 20" error, I have a simple ball head, it's difficult to adjust precisely, I will try to add in PhotoPolarAlign your last impoved implementation.
