Weird SKR 3.0 and SKR 1.4 reset behaviour #42
-
So I have gone from an skr 1.3 board which works perfectly with vanilla Marlin. I upgraded to skr 1.4 and now onto an SKR 3.0 - Then the following happens (happens with both skr 1.4 and skr 3.0)….Sometimes it happens and sometimes it prints perfectly The scenario is as follows - begin a print (PLA) all calibration and z offsets work perfectly, the purge layer goes down no problem, first layer line goes down no problem, then I get 3 or 4 beeps or so after a certain time into the print then the nozzle lifts a few mm or so then the board reboots. I have included a link to the video of the strange occurrence and if anyone has seen this sort of behaviour before then any suggestions would be helpful. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W2TT4R0wlKyKtIf0ioFYTl3n_UdF21at/view?usp=sharing Cheers! |

That's Thermal Runaway Protection kicking in since your temperature drops too much. Run a PID / MPC tune and also look installing silicone sock to insulate your heater block. |

Silicone sock is installed, will run a PID check in the next day or so. What is MPC tune if I may ask? Cheers. |
