Contributing

We welcome contributions from the community to enhance and improve OpenHue. Whether you're a developer, designer, or enthusiast, there are several ways you can get involved:

Reporting Issues

If you encounter a bug, have a feature request, or have suggestions for improvements, please open an issue on our GitHub issue tracker. When reporting issues, please provide as much detail as possible to help us understand and address the problem.

Code Contributions

If you're interested in contributing code to OpenHue, follow these steps:

  1. Fork the OpenHue repository to your GitHub account.
  2. Create a new branch for your feature or bug fix.
  3. Make your changes, following our coding guidelines and practices.
  4. Test your changes thoroughly.
  5. Create a pull request (PR) to the main branch of the OpenHue repository.
  6. Clearly describe the purpose of your PR and the changes made.
  7. Our team will review your PR, provide feedback, and work with you to ensure its quality.
  8. Once approved, your contribution will be merged into the project.

Documentation

Improving and expanding our documentation is another valuable way to contribute. Help us make OpenHue more accessible to developers by enhancing our guides, README, and API documentation. Simply submit a PR with your improvements.
