Running this notebook on Fedora, was going through your procedure for SUSPEND. Good post, this has been bugging me from the beginning. However in step 4. you talk about dsdt.dsl but in step 5. I think it is called dsdt.aml ..
This got me confused , there is no *.aml file and the dsdt.dsl is the one just patched. Or do I missed something.
So far thanks for the effort you took.

Found it , although it is an early revision rev1.update does give conflict, causing failing to build the aml file ....
Skipped the rev1.patch file at now it is build. Rev1 gave errors in part 2

Sorry for late response. Yes, the .aml file is the compiled version of the .dsl file. Failure in compilation can cause the .aml file to not be generated

Regarding the failure in applying rev1.patch, are you sure that your original .dsl file is on revision 1? Can you send your decompiled table?
