support for remote URLs in use-ttf-default-ttf-fonts

This is more of a feature request, but it would be nice to be able to use URLs in addition to file paths in use-ttf-default-ttf-fonts, i.e. "https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode/blob/master/distr/ttf/FiraCode-Retina.ttf?raw=true". If you are interested, perhaps you could look to all-the-icons for implementation ideas.
