  • Ephemeral Disk Support rolls out with this stemcell. This will help you to configure your ephemeral disk that would be used with your applications. This also allows you to reduce your root disk to a minimum of 40 GB. More information here

  • In our previous stemcell, we made an optional argument os_version mandatory during the Invoke-Sysprep step. We have now fixed that, and detect the OS inherently.

Bug Fix

  • There were a few 2012R2 L-1 CIS Policies that were applied to 1709 as well. We have removed them, and would add the right corresponding 1709 L-1 CIS Policies in the future stemcell versions.
