Contributing to MicroEndpoints

Thank you for considering contributing to MicroEndpoints! We appreciate your effort and to ensure your contributions are effective, we have a few guidelines.

Code of Conduct

We believe in maintaining a harmonious work environment and any form of harassment or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

Getting Started

To get started:

  1. Fork the repository.
  2. Clone your forked repository to your local machine.
  3. Make your changes in a new git branch.
  4. Push your topic branch up to your fork.
  5. Open a Pull Request with a clear title and description.

Pull Requests

Please follow these steps for sending us your work:

  1. Make sure you have tested your work. All the tests must pass.
  2. Follow the coding style of the project.
  3. Write good commit messages.
  4. Push your changes to a topic branch in your fork of the repository.
  5. Submit a pull request to the main repository.

Reporting Issues

If you find any bugs, inconsistencies or areas of improvement, feel free to raise an issue in the GitHub issue tracker. When submitting an issue, please include:

  1. A clear title and description.
  2. As much relevant information as possible, such as the .NET version and environment.
  3. A code sample demonstrating the suspected issue.
