As a development team we would like to optimize our company processes by testing streams once the teams deliver them judge they are in an appropriate state.

See SRGSSR/pillarbox-documentation#78.

Acceptance criteria

  • Tools we currently provide / use for testing streams are documented.

Hints

  • MMF.
  • Free URL entry.
  • HLS tools (e.g. mediastreamvalidator).
  • Proxies.
  • ffprobe, mediainfo, ...

Tasks

  • Add documentation to stream encoding / packaging advice.
